To build, establish, and manage a Hindu Temple and Cultural Center, having the title, Sri Vidyaganapathi Devalaya Samstha.
To facilitate the performance of religious services in the temple in accordance with Hindu traditions and conduct Hindu religious, spiritual, cultural, and educational activities in the temple premises; and to support community services and humanitarian causes.
On March 15, 1926 devotees in Vetapalem formed Sri Bala Bhakat Bhajana Nataka Samajam
The mission of the Samajam is to build and maintain a Hindu Temple and Cultural Center with the goal of perpetuating time tested traditions that started by few devotees in 1926 with weekly bhajans, cultural programs, and annual Ganapathy Mahotsvams.
The temple and the cultural center serves as an investment for the sake of future generations-an investment that will be the most precious gift from generations to generations, while fulfilling the cultural and religious needs of the present constituents, comprising common people, professional, academic and business communities in the neighborhood, and students and alumni of the schools and college nearby.
The center should stand as a symbol of new age temple to keep the traditions of Hindu faith while incorporating values of Devotion, Social Service, Education, and Community Integration.
The Samajam will build a temple “Sri Vidya Ganapathy Devalaya Samstha” centrally located among the educational institutes of Girls High School and Sri Bandla Bapaiah Hindu Junior College and several Elementary Schools to better serve the future generations. Your participation through social service and financial donations is greatly appreciated.
All of the above shall be executed in accordance with the vision and mission of the SAMAJAM.
